Eight-part Norwegian crime thriller Borderliner (Grenseland), starring Tobias Santelmann (Kon-Tiki) and Ellen Dorrit Petersen (Acquitted), will receive its world premiere at the Festival de la Fiction TV in La Rochelle (September 13-17) where it will compete for Best European Drama. Filming Begins On New TV2 Crime Thriller Borderliner

Norway's TV2 has announced that its new eight-part crime thriller Borderliner, starring Tobias Santelmann (Kon-Tiki) and Ellen Dorrit Petersen (Frikjent), has begun filming and will air in autumn 2017. Borderliner follows police officer Nikolai Andreassen (Tobias Santelmann), who is asked to investigate a suicide in his home town. Ride Upon The Storm Wins TV Drama Writing Prize

Adam Price, creator of Borgen and Ride Upon the Storm (Herrens veje), was awarded the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize and SEK 200,000 during the TV Drama Vision conference at the Göteborg Film Festival on Wednesday. The Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize recognises outstanding writing in television drama and is decided between five regional contenders. Five Nordic dramas have been selected to compete for the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize and SEK 200,000, in recognition of outstanding writing, which will be presented at the Göteborg Film Festival.
