A witness contacts Erik Aber and claims that Markus was forced to confess. Erik struggles with his hallucinations and tells Elea that he has a brain tumor.
Erik takes part in his final election debate and gets tough with the Bergen police. An old acquaintance of Erik’s contacts Elea and blackmails her right before the night of the election.
Erik Aber is elected mayor of Bergen and there are high challenges. Meanwhile, the witness in the Tarantella case has disappeared and Eriks’s hallucinations are happening more often.
Erik struggles to look Elea in the eye after the infidelity scandal, and Elea seeks legal representation. A memory chip with outrageous contents is sent to the mayor’s office.
Erik finds the witness Tanja, who has taken an overdose, and takes her to A&E. Elea is now convinced that Mark was forced to confess.
Elea’s father admits that he hired a private detective to follow Erik. Meanwhile, the city is shaken by a new overdose case, and the news about Erik’s brain tumor is leaked to the press.
Erik is struck down, and Elea finds out who killed Tanja.
