David Noel Bourke’s third independent feature, Bakerman, has been selected for the 3rd Nordic International Film Festival (12 -14 October) in New York, where it will receive its North American premiere.
Jens (Mikkel Vadsholdt) has accepted far too much for too long. Being the shy night-owl he is, he keeps to himself, but the world will not let him be, and his quality begins to suffer.
When a bunch of yobs smash Jens’ car window, he takes one of them out. Intoxicated by his newfound vigour, Jens comes out of his shell, but this destructive driving force sends him into free fall.
Bakerman’s successful festival run began with CPH PIX, then the Dingle Film Festival and Munich International Film Festival. It will next screen at the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival (28 September – 7 October) before moving on to the Nordic International Film Festival in October.
