Walter Presents Valkyrien For UK Premiere

New eight-part Norwegian thriller Valkyrien, about an illegal hospital hidden in an Oslo underground station, has been picked up by Walter Presents for its UK VOD service and will broadcast on Channel 4. Doctor Ravn (Sven Nordin) is a surgeon desperate to find a cure for his dying wife Vilma (Pia Halvorsen). TV4 Orders Remake of Finnish Medical Drama Nurses

Swedish broadcaster TV4 has ordered two seasons of Syrror, a remake of Finnish medical drama Nurses (Syke). Nurses follows the personal and professional lives of four female nurses in a trauma ward who are determined to save lives despite an infrastructure that seems determined to thwart their efforts. Cecilie Sparre, Marall Nasiri, Janette Holmgren and Tanja Lorentzon will star in the main roles. TV4 has commissioned two seasons of ten episodes, the first of which will broadcast in the autumn of 2016.
