A desperate doctor and a doomsday fanatic enter into an unlikely alliance and set up an illegal clinic deep underground in central Oslo.
Ravn (Sven Nordin) is an ER surgeon and happily married to Vilma (Pia Halvorsen). However, when she becomes terminally ill and refuses further treatment from the hospital, Ravn decides to find a cure himself, but at the expense of his ethics and morals.
Ravn’s former patient Leif (Pål Sverre Hagen), who works for the Contingency Agency in Oslo, is the only one who can offer a suitable hiding place for Raven to continue his research.
Convinced that the end of the world is nigh, Leif has widespread access and knowledge of the city’s underground shelters and secret passages, as well as a significant network in the Oslo underworld and its black economy.
Leif lets Ravn conduct his research in secret at an abandoned bomb shelter in the disused subway station at Valkyrie Plass, and together they set up a clinic for those in need, and those who cannot use public hospitals.
