Alexander Skarsgård & Nicole Kidman Reunite

Deadline reports that Alexander Skarsgård is set for a big screen reunion with Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman in The Northman, a Viking revenge story directed by Robert Eggers (The Lighthouse).

Written by Robert Eggers and Icelandic poet Sjón, The Northman follows a prince (Alexander Skarsgård) who seeks to avenge the death of his father in Iceland at the turn of the 10th century.

The cast also includes Claes Bang (The Square), Bill Skarsgård (Castle Rock), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) and Willem Dafoe (Spider Man), with Nicole Kidman (Top Of The Lake) set to play the prince’s mother.
