Alexander Skarsgård Set For Godzilla vs. Kong

Variety reports that Alexander Skarsgård (Tarzan) is in talks to play the leader of a military unit in Godzilla vs. Kong, directed by Adam Wingard (Death Note).
The movie will be set in the MonsterVerse, the shared fictional universe centred around secret government agency Monarch, that brings together Godzilla and King Kong in an ecosystem of other giant super-species.
The franchise began with Godzilla in 2014, and was followed by Kong: Skull Island in 2017. The third instalment in the franchise, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, is out in 2019, with Godzilla vs. Kong slated for release on 22nd May 2020.
Alexander Skarsgård can next be seen starring alongside starring Michael Shannon and Florence Pugh in Park Chan-Wook‘s six-part drama, The Little Drummer Girl, based on the spy novel by John le Carré. It airs 28th October on BBC One and 19th November on AMC.
