Alexander Skarsgård Wins SAG Award For Best Actor

Alexander Skarsgård achieved the rare feat of collecting honours at all four major awards ceremonies this season when he picked up Best Actor in a Mini Series at the SAG Awards on Sunday for his role in HBO drama Big Little Lies.
Skarsgård beat competition from fellow nominees Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Jeff Daniels (Godless), Robert De Niro (The Wizard Of Lies), and Geoffrey Rush (Genius) to end an awards season which has already presented him with an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice Award.
Big Little Lies won two awards on the night, with Nicole Kidman taking the crown for Best Actress in a Mini Series. HBO has ordered a second season which is expected to go into production this spring, and Skarsgård is rumoured to return.
