Alicia Vikander To Present 75th Golden Globe Awards

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that Alicia Vikander will be among the stars to present the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards, on what could be a stellar night for Sweden.
The ceremony at the Beverly Hilton on 7th January 2018 will be hosted by Seth Meyers, with Alicia Vikander confirmed as a co-presenter in a line-up that also includes Gal Gadot, Penélope Cruz and Shirley MacLaine.
Alicia Vikander was nominated for two Golden Globes herself last year, with Best Supporting Actress for Ex Machina, and Best Actress for The Danish Girl. Although she didn’t win a Golden Globe, she did go on to win an Oscar for The Danish Girl.
There may be further reasons for Sweden to celebrate at this year’s Golden Globes with Ruben Östlund’s Palme d’Or winner The Square nominated for Best Foreign Language Film, and Alexander Skarsgård nominated as Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for his role in Big Little Lies, which recently earned him an Emmy.
The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday 7th January 2018, broadcast live on NBC from 8pm ET / 5pm PST.
