Anders Danielsen Lie To Play Breivik In Norway

Anders Danielsen Lie (Nobel) will play Anders Behring Breivik in Paul Greengrass’ forthcoming Netflix terrorism movie Norway, based on the book One Of Us by Åsne Seierstad.

On 22nd July 2011 Breivik detonated a van in Oslo killing eight people, then shot dead 69 people at a summer camp on the island of Utøya. In August 2012 he was convicted of mass murder, causing a fatal explosion, and terrorism.

The film will follow three strands: the survivors adjusting to life after the attack; the government guiding the country through the crisis; and the lawyers involved in the ensuing trial.

With a budget of £20 million, Norway is slated to begin filming this autumn, and will also star Jon Øigarden (Mammon) as Breveik’s lawyer Geir Lippestad, with Ola G. Furuseth as Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.
