Another Round Nominated For Golden Globe

Danish Oscar submission Another Round (Druk), directed by Thomas Vinterberg, has been nominated for Best Foreign Film at the 78th Golden Globe Awards. This is the third time that Vinterberg has been nominated, following The Celebration (Festen) in 1999 and The Hunt (Jagten) in 2014.

Another Round follows four high school teachers (Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang and Lars Ranthe) who test a theory that they would work and live better by maintaining a constant level of alcohol in their blood. Their initial results are positive with classes and results improving, but as they continue the experiment the results become more extreme.

Also nominated at the Golden Globe Awards this year for Best Foreign Film are La Llorona (Guatemala) by Jayro Bustamante, The Life Ahead (Italy) by Edoardo Ponti, Minari (USA) by Lee Isaac Chung, and Two Of Us (France) by Filippo Meneghetti.

The 78th Golden Globes, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be presented on 28th February from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
