27. Room 302 | Rum 302
The body of a young woman is found in a Stockholm hotel room, and it appears that she has been strangled after a night partying with two young men. However, the room was paid for using the credit card of a mugging victim whose alibi does not add up, and Martin and Gunvald investigate under the supervision of their new boss Klas Freden.

28. The Family | Familjen
When a well-known crime boss is murdered by a sniper in front of his family, Beck and the team are challenged to discover which of his enemies could be responsible.

29. The Invasion | Invasionen
The bodies of two men are found buried in the woods and – despite persistent attempts – they cannot be identified. When another man is murdered Beck and his team discover new evidence that they believe links the killings to an Islamist terrorist cell.

30. The Hospital Murders | Sjukhusmorden
An elderly woman dies in a hospital in Stockholm and it turns out that she suffered from an incurable disease. Her son, though, refuses to believe that it was the disease that was the primary cause of her death.

31. Gunvald
An investigative journalist is found murdered in his home, along with the fingerprints of a notorious criminal debt collector. The journalist had been threatened by right-wing extremists, but it is the victim’s work with a book about ‘society’s dark side’ that captures the interest of Beck and his team. The case takes an unexpected and terrible turn, and suddenly there is much more at stake than finding the journalist’s killer.

32. Steinar
An unidentified body is found in the remains of a trailer after a fire at a run-down caravan park. The owner of the trailer, a young drug-addicted woman, is missing, but is she really the victim? And what role has the local so-called neighbourhood watch played? Police supervisor Klas Freden decides to go over Martin Beck’s head and recruit charismatic Norwegian homicide investigator, Steinar Hovland.

33. At The End Of The Road | Vid vägs ände
An ex-policeman is found murdered in his house, along with his wife and child. Beck and his team take on the case and find that there is a hidden security room in the victims’ house, containing stolen weapons. They find fingerprints from a criminal who was involved in a robbery, after which he shot his accomplices and disappeared with the money. The question is how the former police officer ended up with the weapons and how he is connected to the thieves.

34. The Last Day | Sista dagen
When traffic officers on a quiet morning shift try to stop a car for speeding they are shot at and one of them is killed. Beck and his team lead an extensive search for the ruthless killer.
