Beck Viewers Denied Farewell To Gunvald On C More

On New Year’s Day many viewers were eager to see the latest instalment of Beck, Gunvald, which premiered on the streaming service C More. However, some were to be disappointed to find that from 23:40 to 03:30 the service was disrupted by a DDoS attack.

“The reason was a DDoS attack. It has nothing to do with C More itself, but was an external problem due to an attack on our network provider,” says C More press officer, Mona Holmquist.

“It’s sad that it happened right at a time when so many wanted to watch. Considering how many people wanted to see the movie, it’s a very small percentage who have had problems. We regret what has happened anyway. But the film is there so you can still watch it when you want.”

Holmquist states that most problems have now been resolved: “It should work now I understand. But our customer service to answer questions if that would be something.”

However, there are also currently issues with C More when accessed via Google Chrome. “We have recommended that you use a different browser as it may also have been a reason why some had trouble watching,” says Holmquist.

The remaining three new Beck films premiere on C More in February, March and April 2016.
