People’s Choice Award Nominates Borg/McEnroe

Borg/McEnroe has been nominated for the EFA People’s Choice Award, to be presented at the 31st European Film Awards in December. Who wins? You decide!

Directed by Janus Metz (True Detective) and written by Ronnie Sandahl (Svenskjävel), Borg/McEnroe tells the story of tennis star Björn Borg (Sverrir Gudnason) and his rivalry with John McEnroe (Shia LaBeouf),

Between 1978 and 1981, Borg and McEnroe met in fourteen matches and won seven each, but the 1980 Wimbledon final became the stuff of legend, and is considered to be one of the greatest tennis matches of all time.

Competition for the EFA People’s Choice Award comes from C’est La Vie, Call Me By Your Name, Dunkirk, Darkest Hour, In The Fade, The Death Of Stalin, Valerian & The City Of A Thousand Planets, and Victoria & Abdul.

Until 31st October, fans can vote for their favourite film and have a chance of winning a trip to the 31st European Film Awards on Saturday 15th December 2018 in Seville.
