Casper Conquers Norway With Mockumentary

Casper Christensen (Klovn) has just finished filming new eight-part satire Casper Conquers Norway (Casper Erobrer Norge), a fictional account of his attempt to become famous in Norway.

The series is shot in a mockumentary style and follows Casper’s desperate attempt to find fame outside of Denmark after his home audience begins to tire of his scandals and escapades.

However, Casper Christensen notes that this project is not a new Klovn: “It will be much wilder, shot in a documentary style and, unlike Klovn where each episode is self-contained, the story will arc across the entire season.”

“It has been a lot of fun to record a series in Norway. There’s no real difference between filming in Denmark and Norway, but I have been greeted with a warm welcome and great kindness from the Norwegian guest actors. I am so grateful for that.”

Casper Conquers Norway premieres on Viaplay across the Nordic region in Autumn 2019, and will air later on TV3.
