Colin Nutley’s first drama series in twenty years, Missing (Saknad), premieres on C More on New Year’s Day with a star studded cast including Helena Bergström, Johan Widerberg and Molly Nutley.
Missing, written by Peter Lindblom, stars Helena Bergström as Superintendent Maja Silver of the National Police Department in Stockholm who, wanting to reunite with her daughter Rebecca (Molly Nutley), returns to her old hometown in the Swedish bible belt.
When an emaciated girl is found murdered, Maja becomes embroiled in the search for truth. Then, as another girl disappears, the locals become paralysed by fear and rumours begin to tear through the community.
Director Colin Nutley says: “Missing shows what happens when fear takes hold of a small community, where everyone has their own secrets. It’s like a car crash in slow motion.”
The first episode of four-part drama Missing, which features the music of Daniel Norgren, will be available to stream from New Year’s Day on C More.
