A young woman is found dead at a local playground. Hrafn, a wealthy businessman, is suspected of being involved in the murder. Can Lara help prove his innocence?

Unconfirmed gossip about Hrafn’s behaviour and attitudes towards women do not help his case. A body washes up on the shoreline close to Reykjavik Harbour. Could it somehow be linked?

Lara’s cousin shares some sensitive information with her about a local motorcycle gang and their criminal activities which seem to be on the rise. Lara smells a scoop.

With Lara hot on the heels of the motorcycle gang, things take a sinister turn. Her family is threatened and the safety of her children is put at a risk.

With the public turning against him, Hrafn buys the newspaper Lara works for and subtly uses his influence to turn the tide of support back in his favour. Not everyone is fooled.

Facing problems in her relationship, Lara finally succumbs to Hrafn’s charm. However, a dinner at his house turns out to be far from the evening she had imagined.
