She cuts her hair and swaps identity with a deserting soldier and goes to war.

On March 21st, 1945, the British Royal Air Force set out on a mission to bomb Gestapo’s headquarters in Copenhagen. However, the raid had fatal consequences as some of the bombers accidentally targeted a school and more than 120 people were killed, 86 of whom where children.

Military man Markus returns home to his teenage daughter, Mathilde, when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. Then, maths geek Otto shows up and reveals that he was also a passenger on the wrecked train. Otto is convinced that this was no accident and, as the evidence mounts up, it becomes clear to Markus that his wife might have been collateral damage in a carefully orchestrated assassination.
