1.
Asta dreams of being loved and admired, and is chasing an acting career. On Instagram, her life looks perfect, but right now Asta doesn’t have anywhere to live and no money. Maybe she needs to leave Copenhagen, but going home to provincial life at her parents is the last thing Asta wants.
2.
Asta no longer feels at home in Odden, but is welcomed home by her old friends. To them, she is a successful actress because she has been in a few commercials, and Asta doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She no longer identifies with provincial life either with family or friends, but nostalgia and a mysterious man begin to win her over.
3.
Asta is invited to a gala premiere with Ash, but has promised her parents that she will take care of her paralysed sister Ida. It’s been a long time since she took care of her so struggles to get things right. Fortunately, childhood friend Jose drops by with his nail gear and the evening descends into a great party where secrets and prejudices are revealed.

Asta has been living with her parents for a few weeks and they are tired of her teenage behavior, so they demand that she take responsibility for her finances and get a job in Odden. But Asta doesn’t want to humiliate herself – she is waiting for the outcome of an acting job and is immersed in the creative process.

Asta has lost her phone so takes Aske by surprise with her arrival in Copenhagen. But Aske has another woman with him, making Asta feels stupid. Aske invites her in anyway, and the meeting with his new lover is an awkward affair that takes an unexpected turn.

Asta has given in and taken a job at the Tunen grill house, but is struggling with poor self-esteem and inflammation of the bladder. With her attitude dampened, she hangs out with her friend Fnuggie, which turns into a date when Asta gets closer to nature and closer to Bjarke.

Asta is out shopping with her mother when she bumps into Bjarke and discovers that there are some quite big things that he has not told her. Asta is shocked at Bjarke’s secret, but even more shocked by the news that everyone in town appears to know that she has chlamydia, and she is the last to find out.
8.
Asta is with her family in Sommerland Sjælland, but it isn’t always easy spending time together. Jens shows his racist side, and Asta won’t let it pass without discussion. Asta and Ida take a break from their parents and leave, but Asta forgets that Ida has special needs and is blamed for a seizure that might have been avoided.
9.
Asta wakes up to what she believes to be a burglary but it turns out to be Jose. The next day, Asta takes the bull by the horns and tries to understand Jose’s relationship with Niklas. Asta persuades Jose to leave Niklas and helps her retrieve her stuff, but that’s easier said than done.
10.
Asta hangs out with her friends from Odden, but is surprised by the level of casual racism, which she simply cannot tolerate. She disagrees with Bjarke but, despite their differences, they still end up with each other. At home another surprise awaits: Ida can suddenly communicate with the family. Secrets are revealed and nothing is as it seems.
