On social media, 21-year-old Asta’s life seems lavish and perfect. But, short on cash, she is forced to leave Copenhagen and ‘temporarily’ return home to stay with her family in the countryside.

What is waiting for her is a strange reunion filled with unexpected encounters with family and new as well as old friends. People from her pre-city life, the locals that never chased the same urban dream as she did, reappear in her life and force her to confront her prejudices.
