DR3 Unveils New Tinder Dating Drama Yes No Maybe
DR3 has announced that new eight-part Danish dating drama Yes No Maybe, about the search for love in the digital age, will premiere May 21st.
Yes No Maybe is created by Mads Rosenkrantz Grage, who went on 250 Tinder dates over two years in search of love. The result is an awkward, brutally honest tale of a young man who goes from being a monogamous boyfriend to a manipulative serial dater.
The series follows Mads (Youssef Wayne Hvidtfeldt) who, having been dumped by the woman in his life, is reluctantly forced back onto the dating scene using the fictional dating app YesNoMaybe. Each episode is a different date, and and things rarely go as expected.
Channel Manager for DR3, Steffen Raastrup, said: “Yes No Maybe is a good fit for DR3, and we are pleased to introduce viewers to the show’s very funny, unpredictable and often embarrassing universe.”
“Meanwhile, Yes No Maybe is an entertaining snapshot of our relationship with love and sex, which also contemplates the eternal quest for the perfect relationship.”
The first episode of Yes No Maybe airs Sunday, May 21st at 8:45pm, when the entire series will also be made available to viewers on DRTV and at dr.dk.
