Dragomir Mrsic Faces Dark Forces As Alex In New Thriller

Dragomir ‘Gago’ Mrsic, best known for the Easy Money films, is to star alongside Rakel Wärmländer (Gåsmamman) in new six-part cop thriller Alex, written by Niklas Rockström (Before We Die) and Michael Hjorth (Sebastian Bergman).

Alex (Dragomir Mrsic) has come to terms with his dubious past and wants to go straight. But the dark forces he has collaborated with refuse to let him off the hook, putting both Alex and his family’s lives at risk.

Meanwhile, Alex is assigned a new partner, Frida (Rakel Värmländer), who has secretly been instructed to bring him down.

Mrsic says: “It is wonderful to finally make a tough thriller that dares to go beyond what we usually get to see. Alex takes place in a brutal world that I have seen up close and which we get to experience without compromise.”

Alex, based on an idea by Dragomir Mrsic and Mikael Cross, begins filming in Göteborg this month and is slated to premiere on Viaplay in spring 2018.
