Extended Trailer Released For Viaplay Original Hassel

Viaplay has released an extended second trailer for new ten-part thriller Hassel, starring Ola Rapace as the iconic Swedish police investigator Roland Hassel, based loosely on the books by Olov Svedelid.
Roland Hassel’s boss and mentor, Yngve Ruda, is brutally murdered in the street. Consumed by grief and rage, Hassel gathers together his closest allies from the Triton police unit to find Ruda’s killer and avenge his death.
But the deeper Hassel investigates into Ruda’s past, the more secrets surface about the man he thought he knew. Clues lead to the corridors of power in both Stockholm and Brussels, involving Hassel’s own colleagues and high-ranking politicians, leaving him wondering who can he trust.
Joining Ola Rapace in the Triton police unit are Shanti Roney as Thomas Meyer, Nana Blondell as Eira Lindhe, David Nzinga as Johannes Frank and Thomas Holmin as Simon Palm.
Other notable cast members include Aliette Opheim (Thicker Than Water) as Hassel’s girlfriend Daniela Bergman, Wilma Lidén as his fourteen year-old stepdaughter Vida, Stina Ekblad as Marianne, and Tomas Laustiola (Jordskott) as Yngve Ruda.
Hassel, directed by Amir Chamdin, is set to premiere across the Nordic region September 8th on Viaplay, and will air on TV3 next spring.
