Filming Begins For Torpederna Season Two

Filming has begun for season two of Torpederna (The Torpedoes), the hit series in which Torkel Peterson plays jailbird Sonny who, after serving six years behind bars, moves in with his social worker Camilla (Liv Mjönes).

Season two picks up the story one month on from the end of season one. Sonny (Torkel Peterson) and his sidekick Nima (Leo Razzak) are on the run from gangland boss Goran (Dragomir Mrsic) who is convinced that they robbed and murdered his men.

Sonny bitterly regrets that he gave in to temptation for one last job and went behind Camilla’s back whilst she was pregnant by him, and Goran’s gang are looking for her too after she killed one of his underlings! So it’s not long before Sonny and Nima cross paths with Camilla’s again….

Josefine Tengblad, Head Of Drama for C More and TV4, says: “Torpederna was a critical favorite and has an incredibly dedicated fan base. So, I am both proud and happy that we can now give the audience a long-awaited sequel! We have worked hard to make an even stronger second season, and I really think that we have succeeded.”

The six-part second season of Torpederna, written by Jesper Harrie (Boy Machine), is directed by Måns Herngren (Solsidan) and is slated to premiere on C More in 2017.
