Filming Underway For New TV12 Comedy Jävla Klåpare!

Filming is now underway for TV12’s first in-house comedy, Jävla Klåpare! about handyman culture and home renovation in Sweden. The series will air in ten parts this autumn starring Måns Nathanaelson, Liv Mjönes, Anastasios Soulis and Leif Andree.

Carpenter Dane (Måns Nathanaelson) and his apprentice Marre (Anastasios Soulis) enjoy their work. They go home just after lunch every day, work with uncomplicated guys and get away with cheating their working hours.

But when their manager Roland (Leif Andree) says that the company needs to be modernised, be more transparent and efficient, the situation becomes uncomfortable to say the least. To make matters worse, Roland appoints Weronica (Liv Mjönes), a tough and dedicated painter, to work with Dane and Marre.

Over the course of the series, viewers will see Dane, Marre and Weronica embark on increasingly demanding missions for customers ranging from DIY novices to couples who are actually trying to renovate their relationships.

Co-creator, Måns Nathanaelson, says: “The construction industry feels like a really fun place to build a comedy series… We live in a time when the home means so much, and all the time it is being developed, but as a carpenter once told me: ‘It can also destroy people’s dreams pretty quickly.'”
