First Trailer For Mads Mikkelsen Arctic Thriller

A trailer has been released for Joe Penna’s survival adventure thriller Arctic, starring Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) and Maria Thelma Smáradóttir.

Danish explorer Overgård (Mads Mikkelsen), the lone survivor of an airplane crash in the Arctic, despairs when a potential rescue by helicoptor is thwarted by an icy wind that ends in disaster.

He must then decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or to embark on a deadly trek into the unknown through the the frozen wilderness in the hope of salvation.

Filmed during a 19-day shoot in Iceland against 30-40 knot winds and sub-zero temperatures, Arctic opens in US theatres on 1st February 2019.
