Five Danes Conspire To Plan The Perfect Murder

This autumn, Dar Salim (Warrior) and Lene Maria Christensen (The Legacy) star in Fred til lands, an eight part psychological thriller for DR1 about five individuals who join forces to plan the perfect murder.

Set in the Danish provincial town of Ebberup, the series finds a community that revolves around the local school and a chicken farm where eight million chickens live and die each year. Here, agriculture meets industry as civilisation tries to tame nature.

The people of Ebberup have settled here in the hope of finding a life that may not be perfect but is good. Most remember innocence times of endless summer evenings, where the future was bright and no-one was worried about financial crises, global warming or terrorism… a time when no-one worried about Mike.

Mike (Morten Hee Andersen) torments the community with his behaviour and even got away with murder. But five very different people become united against him as he ruins their lives. They decide to plan the perfect murder and drive the evil out of Ebberup once and for all so their community can finally find peace.

Written by Christian Torpe and Marie Østerbye (Rita), Fred til lands is directed by Louise Friedberg (Ride Upon The Storm) with a cast that also includes Anders Juul and Marijana Jankovic.
