Follow The Money & Shame Win C21 Drama Awards

During a gala evening at Picturehouse Central in London on Wednesday night, Follow The Money and Shame picked up honours from the C21 Media International Drama Awards, which are judged by 100 drama commissioners and buyers.
Danish thriller Follow The Money (Bedrag) fought off stiff competition from Black Widows, Case, and Trapped to win Best Non-English-Language Drama. The series begins with a dead body found in the sea near a wind farm, but as the investigation progresses it reveals a morass of financial and legal shady dealings.
Meanwhile, Norwegian teen drama Shame (Skam) beat its Swedish rival Hashtag to the crown of Best Digital Original. The series follows a group of friends at Hartvig Nissen High School in Oslo, through daily updates on Instagram and other social media to give a sense of real-time action, followed by a weekly episode published online.
