Full Results For The Eurovision Song Contest 2016
On Saturday the Grand Final of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, presented by Petra Mede and last year’s winner, Måns Zelmerlöw.
In previous years the results of the professional juries and viewers were awarded as a combined result, but in an added twist this year, the professional juries and televoters from each country each awarded separate points. This means that the top 10 countries for both the jury and televote received points.
After the juries had delivered their verdict, the top three countries were: Australia (320 points), Ukraine (211 points), and France (148 points).
However, after the combined televote from each country had been added, there was a seismic shift in the leaderboard and the winners were revealed: Ukraine (534 points), followed narrowly by Australia (511 points) and Russia (491 points).
So, next year the Eurovision party heads to the Ukraine!
