Gåsmamman Season Two To Premiere Autumn 2016

In a press release, C More announced that the hotly anticipated second season of Gåsmamman (Mother Goose) began filming this Monday. When Gåsmamman first aired on Kanal 5 it attracted 725,000 viewers, making it the highest rated Swedish drama on the channel since 1998.

In season two Sonja (Alexandra Rapaport) and the children return to Sweden for the court case after hiding out in Australia. They now have protected identities, and no friends or family know that they are back. But the nightmare is not over – the hunt is on for Sonja and the kids.

Rapaport says: “I’m crazy proud of Gåsmamman, and super psyched to sink my teeth into season two, which I think will be even more exciting. Hopefully, we have found the shape of our series and can switch it up.”

Gåsmamman will return to C More in autumn 2016 with an expanded cast of familiar faces, including Allan Svensson, Morgan Alling, Rakel Wärmländer (En underbar jävla jul), Cilla Torell (Det mest förbjudna), Tobias Zilliacus (Hypnotisören), Bahar Pars (En man som heter Ove) and Anastasios Soulis (En underbar jävla jul).

Richard Holm (Johan Falk) continues as director, and the series is written by Camilla Ahlgren and Martin Asphaug.
