HBO Sets October Premiere For The Undoing

HBO has announced that six-part limited series The Undoing, directed by Susanne Bier (The Night Manager), will now debut on 25th October having been postponed since May due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The story follows successful therapist Grace (Nicole Kidman) who has everything she thought she ever wanted. She’s on the brink of publishing her first book, her devoted husband (Hugh Grant) is an acclaimed pediatric oncologist and together they have a young son who attends an elite private school in New York City.
But overnight a chasm opens in their seemingly perfect lives: a violent death, a missing spouse and, in place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain of terrible revelations.
Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster, Grace is horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice and is forced to dismantle one life to create another for her child and her family.
The cast also includes Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing) as Chief Prosecutor Catherine Stamper, Edgar Ramirez (The Assassination of Gianni Versace) as Detective Joe Mendoza, Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) as Sylvia Steinetz, and Donald Sutherland (Citizen X) as Grace’s protective father Franklin Reinhardt.
