Henriette Steenstrup To Celebrate Caregivers As Pørni

New six-part Viaplay dramedy Suck It Up (Pørni), written by and starring Henriette Steenstrup (Ragnarok), will pay tribute to the work of caregivers as they navigate the frustrations and joy of their chosen profession whilst trying to find time to maintain their personal lives.
Three teenagers and one ageing father to take care of at home, thirty preschoolers to take care of at work and no time for any of them – life as a working parent is really no fun for Pernille, nicknamed Pørni. Moreover, she is grieving for her sister and has a difficult ex-husband to contend with. How will she ever catch up with her love life?
Viaplay Chief Content Officer, Filippa Wallestam, said: “This original series is warm, frustrating and gratifying all at the same time – just like being a parent. Henriette Steenstrup’s career continues to reach new heights and Suck It Up will be her most personal project to date, with a complex main character who quietly lives a heroic life that will appeal to viewers everywhere.”
Suck It Up (Pørni) is currently filming in Oslo and will premiere on Viaplay across the Nordic region in 2021.
