History Confirms Vikings Season Five For November

History announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that hit drama Vikings will return on Wednesday, November 29th in the US and Canada for a two-hour season five premiere.

Season five begins with Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) asserting his leadership over the Great Heathen Army, while Lagertha reigns as Queen of Kattegat. Meanwhile, Ivar’s murder of his brother Sigurd (David Lindström) sets the stage for vicious battles to come as Ragnar’s sons plot their next moves after avenging their father’s death.

Elsewhere, Bjorn follows his destiny into the Mediterranean Sea as he and Halfdan explore northern Africa, and Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) takes to the Atlantic where he submits himself to the will of the Gods.

The cast also includes Peter Franzén as King Harald, Jasper Pääkkönen as Halfdan, Marco Ilsø as Prince Hvitserk, Ida Nielsen as Margrethe, and Erik Madsen as King Hemming.
