International Cast Set To Thrill On Viaplay’s Rig 45

MTG Studios has announced Rig 45, a new thriller for Viaplay directed by Per Hanefjord (Black Widows) which stars an ensemble cast of Nordic and international talent led by Catherine Walker (Versailles) and Gary Lewis (Outlander).

Two days before Christmas, Andrea (Catherine Walker) is sent by Benthos Oil to investigate a fatal accident on a North Sea rig. Met by an inexplicable wall of silence from the crew, Andrea starts to suspect something is very wrong…

Then a hurricane slams into Rig 45, cutting off all communications with the outside world, the crew find themselves battling both the elements and a shockingly devious killer. The question is not just who it is, but who will survive.

Rig 45, which also stars Jakob Oftebro (Monster), Lisa Henni (Fallet) and Søren Malling (The Killing), will premiere on MTG’s Nordic video streaming service Viaplay in summer 2018.
