Keanu Reeves Confirmed For More Swedish Dicks

Viaplay has announced that Keanu Reeves (John Wick) will reprise his role as Tex, alongside Peter Stormare and Johan Glans, for the second season of Swedish Dicks when it returns in December.

Swedish Dicks is a comedy about a former stuntman Ingmar (Peter Stormare) and former DJ Axel (Johan Glans) who start a private investigation agency which tackles some of the strangest cases in LA, including the murder of Ingmar’s old stuntman friend Tex (Keanu Reeves).

Keanu Reeves said: “The first season of Swedish Dicks ended with a huge cliffhanger and as soon as I found out that crazy genius Peter Stormare intended to continue the story, I knew that I had to be part of it.”

Head of production company Brain Academy, Peter Settman, added : “His chemistry on stage with Peter Stormare makes the series unbeatable and season two will once again show the audience around the world that Swedish Dicks is anything but average!”

Also confirmed for season two are Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) as client who orders a hit on his own life, Lori Petty (Orange is the New Black) as a medium investigated by the Swedish Dicks, and Justin Chambers (Gray’s Anatomy) as a tired and lonely ageing rocker who hopes to find friendship with the hapless duo.

The ten-part second season of Swedish Dicks will air on Viaplay across the Nordic region, premiering with two episodes on December 25th, followed by two episodes every Monday until the season finale on January 22nd.
