Kristofer Hivju To Play Twins In Identity Swap Drama

Kristofer Hivju (Game Of Thrones) is set to star in forthcoming NRK drama Twin, in which he plays a twin who accidentally kills his own brother and must adopt his identity to hide the crime.
In Twin, Erik and Adam are identical twin brothers, living completely different lives. Erik is a broke surfer bum and Adam, a successful family man and businessman. But when Erik seeks out his brother for the first time in 15 years, a quarrel ends with Erik and Adam’s wife, Ingrid, accidentally killing Adam.
To avoid getting arrested for murder and to save his brother’s family, Erik takes over Adam’s identity, though it soon turns out that the biggest challenge is not getting caught – it’s pretending to be someone else.
Kristofer Hivju, who has been working on the idea for ten years with co-creator and writer Kristoffer Metcalfe, said in a statement: “This is a dream role, and a project I am passionate about. It is a great pleasure to be involved in developing this TV series, and I can’t wait to show it to the public.”
Twin begins filming next spring in the Lofoten archipelago, and is slated to premiere on NRK in January 2019.
