Kristofer Hivju Twin Sold To Over 40 Countries

Norwegian identity swap drama Twin, starring Kristofer Hivju (Beck), has been sold to BBC Four in the UK, along with over forty other countries including Australia, Benelux, Germany, New Zealand and the USA.
In Twin, Erik and Adam (Kristofer Hivju) are identical twin brothers, living completely different lives. Erik is a broke surfer bum while Adam runs a thriving family business with his wife Ingrid (Rebekka Nystabakk) and has two children.
But when Erik’s irresponsible lifestyle catches up with him and he loses everything, he seeks out his brother for the first time in 15 years, but is brutally rejected. An argument turns into a fight, and when Ingrid tries to separate them, things takes a fatal turn. Adam dies. It’s an accident, but it looks like a murder.
To avoid getting arrested for murder and to save the family, Ingrid persuades Erik to take over Adam’s identity, though it soon turns out that the biggest challenge is not getting caught but pretending to be someone else.
Twin premieres on NRK in Norway on 27th October, comprising eight episodes.
