Land Of Mine is inspired by real events and unfolds in the days after the German capitulation in May 1945 – the day of reckoning after five years of occupation.

A group of young German war prisoners are handed over to the Danish authorities and subsequently sent out to the West Coast, where they are ordered to remove with their bare hands more than 2 million mines that the Germans had placed in the sand along the coast.
