Lasse Hallström To Direct Leslie Kean UFO Exposé

Deadline reports that Swedish director Lasse Hallström (A Dog’s Purpose) is to adapt Leslie Kean’s book UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record, from a script written by Wendy Button.

Leslie Kean wrote the recent New York Times article about the existence of a Pentagon UFO program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program which has secretly been in operation since 2007. The film will recount his investigation into Unexplained Aerial Phenomena and recreate some of these events based on documentary evidence.

Kean said: “The recent story in the Times has increased recognition of the seriousness of the UFO question and has focused attention on it worldwide. More coverage will continue to position this issue front and center during the coming year,”

Lasse Hallström added: “I hope it will spark curiosity, awareness and bring hope about the great mysteries that surround us.”
