Helena af Sandeberg Makes Dough For SVT

Filming has begun for new SVT drama Deg (Dough), written by Guldbagge winner Levan Akin (And Then We Danced) and Mattias J. Skoglund (Losers), with a story of greed, revenge and unexpected alliances in a world where appearances are everything.
Malou (Helena af Sandeberg) and wants to appear to be a successful entrepreneur with a big house in Lidingö, but it’s all a facade – her latest venture has gone bankrupt and the bailiff is knocking at the door. Then she comes across a bag containing SEK 47 million in cash from a robbery, so decides to opens a bakery to launder the money. But there are people are looking for the illgotten gains…
Meanwhile, Liana (Bianca Kronlöf) is a single, debt-ridden mother who was left in the lurch by her boyfriend when he got caught for the robbery of SEK 47 million. Everyone is convinced that he hid the money, and Liana is drawn into the hunt for against her will, leading her to cross paths with Malou in a way that they could never have imagined.
Levan Akin said: “This is a dream project that we have been working on for many years. We are so happy to finally begin filming and that Deg will soon meet its audience.”
