Love Me Adaptation Moves Drama To Chicago

Deadline reports that ABC are developing Love Me, an adaptation of forthcoming Viaplay dramedy Älska mig, and have committed to a pilot.

Written and directed by Josephine Bornebusch (Welcome To Sweden), Älska mig stars Bornebusch herself alongside Sverrir Gudnason (Borg McEnroe) in a story of friendship, grief and romance for three generations living in Stockholm.

The adaptation by Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith (Life Sentence) for ABC transposes the story to Chicago where a multi-generational family search for love in an increasingly digital world and support each other as they navigate life’s highs and lows.

Älska mig premieres across the Nordic region on Viaplay this autumn.
