Moa Gammel Working On UFO Pilot For Netflix

As Moa Gammel (Jordskott) readies to launch her second season of UFO podcast Ufopodden on Sveriges Radio P3, it has been revealed that a pilot based on the show is in development for Netflix.

Gammel told Aftonbladet: “I’m a UFO agnostic. These mysteries, these phenomena that defy any natural explanations, are extremely fascinating. I am not more or less convinced, but it has prompted me to start writing a Netflix sci-fi pilot together with Inger Scharis, using the UFO archive at Norrköping.”

“It’s a drama, but based on real-life events. We have been looking for cases where there are things unexplained, where the mystery remains. Ideally, there will have been many witnesses, or perhaps even secret military reports.”

“There’s a long way to go for this to happen, but we have presented Netflix with a bible of characters and pitched our ideas. They were interested enough for us to write a pilot episode for them.”

The eight-part second season of Ufopodden premieres Tuesday 3rd July on Sveriges Radio P3.
