Netflix Drops Trailer For Black Crab Thriller

Netflix has released a trailer for Swedish action thriller Black Crab, adapted from the acclaimed novel Svart krabba by Jerker Virdborg, which stars Noomi Rapace (Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) as a speed skater turned soldier.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world torn apart by climate change and war, Black Crab follows six soldiers that are sent on a mission across the frozen sea to transport a package that could finally end the war. Unaware of what they are carrying, or who they can trust, the mission forces the crew to question what they are willing to sacrifice for their own survival.
The cast also includes Jakob Oftebro (Monster), Erik Enge (Tigers), Dar Salim (Deliver Us), Ardalan Esmaili (Greyzone), Aliette Opheim (Thicker Than Water) and David Dencik (Follow The Money).
Producer, Mattias Montero, said: “As a Swede you grow up knowing you live in a country of peace and equality, all in all life’s good and safe here. But lately we have all learned how fragile our societies are due to pandemics, civil wars, global warming and economic chaos. How would it be to wake up one day in a totally destroyed and war torn Sweden?”
Black Crab, directed by Adam Berg, premieres 18th March globally on Netflix.
