Netflix Readies Psychological Horror Cadaver

Netflix has announced that its first Norwegian original movie Cadaver, a psychological horror where humanity is put to the test, will launch on the streaming service this Autumn.

In the starving aftermath of a nuclear disaster, Leonora (Gitte Witt), Jacob (Thomas Gullestad) and their daughter Alice (Tuva Olivia Remman) are on the edge of survival when the local hotel invites survivors to attend a play, including a meal, as a charitable effort to help those in need.

However, upon arrival the director, Mathias (Thorbjørn Harr), reveals that the entire hotel is the stage and guests are given masks to help separate them from actors. But the play takes an eerie turn when audience members start to disappear and it soon becomes clear that there is something very wrong.

The cast also includes  Maria Grazia De Meo as Kathrine, Trine Wiggen as Rakel, Bente Børsum as Vivian, Jonathan Rodriguez as David, Stig Frode Henriksen as Hans and Helge Jordal as The Ticketmaster.

Cadaver, written and directed Jarand Herdal will be available to stream globally on Netflix from 22nd October 2020.
