Netflix Teases Cursed Trailer With Gustaf Skarsgård

Netflix has released a trailer for Cursed, a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend which premieres this July, starring Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings) alongside Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why).
Based on the graphic novel written by Tom Wheeler and illustrated by Frank Miller, Cursed follows Nimue (Katherine Langford) whose connection to dark magic makes her an outcast to her Druid village and desperate to leave… until the entire village is slaughtered by Red Paladins, and Nimue’s fate is forever changed.
Charged by her dying mother to reunite an ancient sword with legendary sorcerer Merlin (Gustaf Skarsgård), Nimue is now her people’s only hope. Her mission leaves little room for revenge, but soon Nimue finds help in her quest from charming young mercenary Arthur.
As Nimue wields a sword meant for the one true king, she becomes a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins and their corrupt King Uther, and the fight to avenge her people leads Nimue ever closer to the truth about her own destiny.
Cursed premieres 17th July on Netflix, with all episodes available at launch.
