Nicolai Cleve Broch Joins Sandhamn Murders

As The Sandhamn Murders (Morden i Sandhamn) returns to C More and TV4 this August for a seventh season, the characters’ lives and stories have diverged and begun to live in parallel to Viveca Sten’s novels.
Season seven welcomes Norwegian police officer Alexander (Nicolai Cleve Broch) to the team, after prosecutor Nora Linde’s (Alexandra Rapaport) former colleague Thomas (Jakob Cedergren) moves to Norway to be closer to his ex-wife and daughter.
However, the beautiful archipelago is anything but quiet for the new police officer, with a caseload that includes deadly party drugs, murders and financial crime. Meanwhile, Nora is confronted with a turbulent private life as the single mother of a rebellious teenage daughter.
Alexandra Rapaport said: “This is Sandhamn Murders 2.0 and one of the best seasons so far, in my opinion. It contains more tension, complicated relationships and unexpected situations that affect Nora in several different ways.”
“It was lovely to play alongside Nicolai whom I have admired ever since we worked together on the series Kieler Street in 2018. His character, Alexander, is at once multi-faceted, temperamental, entertaining and contributes a wonderful energy to the series.”
Nicolai Cleve Broch added: “Alexander is a police officer with a strong sense of justice, but unfortunately not so much impulse control. He often gets into trouble because he doesn’t always take into account the long-term consequences of his actions. But, he is a clever cop who dares to think outside the box.”
Season seven of The Sandhamn Murders comprises eight parts and premieres 3rd August on C More, followed by 18th August on TV4.
