Nikolaj Arcel To Direct Matt Damon As Kennedy

Oscar nominated Nikolaj Arcel, whose adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower hits theaters next month, will direct Matt Damon as Robert F. Kennedy in his next project. Filming begins in April 2018.

After the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, his younger brother Robert became known as a progressive politician who wanted to clean up Washington and create social change.

In 1968, Kennedy was favourite to win the Democratic nomination for Presidency, but on June 5th he was shot by mentally ill Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan, and died the following day.
