Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Nominated For Emmy

As nominations were revealed for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, HBO’s Game Of Thrones emerged victorious with 22 nods, including Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Saturday Night Live and Westworld are close behind Game Of Thrones with 21 nominations each, while American Crime Story – The Assassination Of Gianni Versace received 18 nods. This is the first time in 17 years that HBO has not received the most nominations, with just 108 against 112 for Netflix.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who stars as Jaime Lannister, will compete against his Game Of Thrones onscreen brother Tyrion, played by Peter Dinklage. The nominees are rounded out by Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), and Matt Smith (The Crown).
Hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che from Saturday Night Live, the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on 17th September at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
