Nominees Revealed For European Film Awards

The European Film Academy has announced that Trine Dyrholm, Ingvar Sigurðsson and Levan Gelbakhiani have been nominated in the acting categories of the 32nd European Film Awards.
Trine Dyrholm is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Danish Oscar entry Queen Of Hearts, directed by May el-Toukhy, which recently won the Nordic Council Film Prize. She will compete for the award against Olivia Colman (The Favourite), Noémie Merlant & Adèle Haenel (Portrait Of A Lady On Fire), Viktoria Miroshnichenko (Beanpole), and Helena Zengel (System Crasher).
Ingvar Sigurðsson is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Icelandic Oscar entry A White, White Day, directed by Hlynur Palmason, alongside Levan Gelbakhiani for Levan Akin’s Swedish Oscar entry And Then We Danced. They will compete against Antonio Banderas (Pain And Glory), Jean Dujardin (An Officer And A Spy), Pierfrancesco Favino (The Traitor), and Alexander Scheer (Gundermann).
More than 3,600 members of the European Film Academy will now vote for the winners who will be revealed during a gala presentation on Saturday 7th December in Berlin.
