NRK, TV2 & Aftenposten Create Nordic Series Days

Norwegian broadcasters NRK and TV2 have joined forces with Aftenposten to create Nordiske Seriedager (Nordic Series Days), which will be held September 28th-29th at Sentralen in Oslo, for the Norwegian and Nordic television industry to meet and exchange ideas.
TV2’s Head Of Drama, Christopher Haug, said: “Norwegian and some other Nordic television shows often end up as a side program at other festivals. Moreover, we believe that we in this country have to get better at being proud of what we produce.”
“Our goal is that this festival can make our stories travels even more, whilst the audience will have a unique opportunity to see and get an idea of the series that will characterise the coming year. It will be informative and entertaining.”
The two day festival will comprise meeting points, an academic conference, and a showcase which will include panel discussions, interviews and talks by some of Nordic TV’s biggest names, both in front of and behind the camera.
The festival will also introduce a Nordic Drama Award, and offer previews for some of this autumn’s biggest shows, such as:
Nobel, NRK
Frikjent, Season 2, TV 2
Aber Bergen, TV3
Farang, TV4
Midnight Sun, SVT / NRK
Nurses, TV4 / TV2
